Funny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pie crust for 10-inch pie plate
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbeaten egg
    3 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients; add shortening, milk and vanilla. Add egg and beat for 1 minute.
    Pour batter into prepared pie crust and top with nuts.
    Pour sauce over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream.
