Mock Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sage
    1/4 c. oil
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cook together potatoes, carrots, onion and celery in water to cover.
    Leave enough broth (2 cups) for gravy.
    Scramble eggs in oil.
    Mix in flour, salt and sage.
    Add broth from vegetables and mix well.
    Combine with cooked vegetables.
    Place in a casserole dish covering with pastry strips.
    Spread with cream or milk.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done, about 30 minutes.
