No Cook Fondant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and knead well.
    Divide into several parts and color and flavor each part separately using pink, green, white, peppermint, almond, or other colors and/or flavorings. Use to stuff dates, make into patties, nut logs or slice.
    It becomes creamier as it ages.
    Store in airtight containers.
    If desired, melt chocolate in a double boiler and dip balls.
    Use a toothpick, and place on waxed paper or foil to cool and harden. Maraschino cherries may be placed inside these; make sure they are well drained.
