Creamy Autumn Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 to 1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in cubes or 1/2 sour cream
    5 or 6 cubed potatoes, peeled and cut up
    1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Butter a 1-quart casserole dish.
