Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 or 2 green peppers, cut into 1/4-inch strips
    1 lb. steak (sirloin or strip), cut into small pieces
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, in 2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    green or white onions, cut into small pieces (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oil in the wok and stir-fry the green peppers 1 to 2 minutes.
    Then stir-fry the onions.
    Push aside.
    Stir-fry the steak 3 to 4 minutes.
    Return the green peppers and onions to the steak in the wok.
    Stir the cornstarch mixture, broth and soy sauce into the steak and peppers.
    Heat until the sauce is thickened and clear.
    Serve at once with rice.
