German Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. uncooked rice
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 can tomatoes
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut with juice or cabbage with a little water
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In a large skillet, melt butter.
Layer sauerkraut, rice, then onion and green pepper.
Top with hamburger, salt and pepper, then place tomatoes on top of that.
Do not stir.
Cook, covered, over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve from skillet.
