Pasta And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 chopped onions
    1 clove garlic
    1 large jar spaghetti sauce
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 can mushrooms
    salt and pepper
    1 1/2 pt. sour cream
    Provolone cheese, cut thin
    Mozzarella slices
    macaroni (shells, spirals)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in large frying pan; add onion and garlic and cook until onions are limp.
    Add spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Cook 1 pound macaroni.
    Put 1/2 in casserole; spread meat mixture over top, then a layer of sour cream over that and then thin Provolone cheese slices.
    Add rest of macaroni, meat, sour cream and Mozzarella slices on top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove cover towards end of baking time to melt and brown cheese. Double recipe to make 2 casseroles and freeze one.
