Frozen Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 quarts unpeeled cucumbers, thinly sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over sliced cucumbers and onions. Let stand 2 hours. Then, drain off liquid.
    Combine sugar and vinegar and pour over pickles.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Stir.
    Then place pickles into freezer containers.
    Freeze.
    Keep frozen at least 2 days before eating.
    Thaw container at room temperature.
    Then keep refrigerated.
    Pickles will keep well in the freezer for one year.
