Red Beans And Rice With Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. smoked sausage, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; saute celery, onion and green pepper until soft, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in beans, sausage, broth, water and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil and stir in rice.
    Cover and remove from heat; let stand for five minutes.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
