Tamale Rarebit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 c. grated American cheese
1 1/2 to 2 c. canned whole kernel corn, drained
1 well-beaten egg
1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of chili powder
toast points
Preparation

Melt butter in double boiler.
Add green pepper; cook until tender.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Combine corn and egg. Add to cheese mixture.
Add remaining ingredients except toast; heat thoroughly, stirring constantly.
Serve over hot toast. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
