Stove Top Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. sweet potatoes
1/2 stick margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. marshmallows (enough to cover large skillet)
1 1/4 c. pecans (Optional)
Preparation

Peel and slice potatoes into 1/2-inch slices.
Melt margarine in large covered skillet over medium heat. Brown potato slices in margarine on both sides until all slices have been browned.
Add brown sugar, water and cinnamon to potatoes.
Turn heat to low and cook until potatoes are fork-tender (10 or 15 minutes).
