Williamsburg Lemon Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. lemon juice
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Blend the first 3 ingredients together and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Beat together the next 5 ingredients and pour over baked layer while hot.
    Bake again at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Dust with powdered sugar and cut into small squares when cool.
    They freeze well.
