Praline Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sour cream
Preparation
    To make praline, caramelize 1 cup sugar; stir in pecans and immediately spread onto greased baking sheet.
    When cool, break into small pieces and chop in food processor or blender.
    Do not pulverize completely.
    Combine crumbs with butter in food processor or blender.
    Press into 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Beat eggs; add softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
    Fold in sour cream, then crushed praline. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 35 minutes or just until set.
    Chill 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
    Serves 12.
