Beef Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1/4 c. onion powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix beef, rice, onion powder and seasonings.
    Form into small balls.
    Fry in oil, turning frequently until light brown, but not crusty, on all sides.
    Add sauce and water.
    Mix well.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
