Amish Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger meat
    1 medium onion
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion; drain.
    Add tomato soup, catsup, water, salt and brown sugar.
    Simmer; stir frequently.
    Cook noodles by package directions while sauce simmers.
    Drain noodles and mix with sour cream and chicken soup.
    Pour noodle mixture into 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Slice Velveeta layer on top of noodles. Pour sauce on top of cheese.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 20 to 30 minutes.
