Oven Pot Roast(This Is An Original) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) thick chuck steak (preferably no or little bone)
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    8 medium potatoes
    3 medium onions
    10 carrots
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Brown steak in hot oil in skillet until both sides are medium brown.
    Place meat in large baking pan.
    Add concentrated soup and fill up each soup can again with water.
    Pour over meat.
    Add bay leaves, salt and pepper and sliced onions to pan.
    Cover tightly and cook for 1 hour.
