Gourmet Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1-inch) loin pork chops
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. peanut oil
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 c. chicken stock
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour.
    Brown in hot oil over medium heat.
    Drain.
    Place in casserole.
    Set aside.
    Stir onion and garlic into drippings.
    Cook.
    Add wine and stock.
    Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
    Saute mushrooms in butter.
    Add mushrooms, thyme and bay leaf to skillet.
    Pour wine sauce over chips.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf.
