Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. black walnuts
    1/4 c. grape juice
Preparation
    Cream shortening,
    sugar
    and
    eggs.
    Beat
    well
    after each. Add
    sifted dry ingredients (flour, soda, baking powder and spices alternately
    with\tbuttermilk.
    Add
    jam, raisins, nuts, grape juice
    and vanilla.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
