Carrot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. finely chopped carrots
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Place carrots and some water in blender; chop and drain in colander.
Add raisins and mix.
Let stand 30 minutes.
I mix from time to time.
Mix mayonnaise with sugar and sour cream; stir into carrots and raisins.
Serve on salad plate lined with lettuce leaf.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Do not add walnuts to salad until ready to serve as they will become soggy and spoil the salad!
Wait until the last minute.
Stores well in refrigerator. Tastes great!
