Strawberry Angel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. Birds Eye sliced strawberries, drained (reserve juice)
    2 envelopes (4 oz. pkg.) Dream Whip dessert topping
    1 c. minus 2 Tbsp. cold milk
    2 Tbsp. strawberry juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. almond extract
    white layer cake
Preparation
    Prepare Dream Whip as package directs, using 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons cold milk, 2 tablespoons strawberry juice, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/8 teaspoon almond extract.
    Fold in drained strawberries.
    Spread on the top and sides of two 8-inch white layer cake.
    Chill.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Serves 12.
