Apple Or Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    4 c. diced apples or peaches
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 well beaten egg
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1/3 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Place apples or peaches in bottom of greased deep-dish pie plater or baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine egg, milk and butter.
    Add dry ingredients all at once to milk mixture.
    Mix until smooth. Pour over fruit.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Preheat oven to 320\u00b0.
    Bake slow for about 50 minutes.
    Great with ice cream.
