Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Combine oats, brown sugar and buttermilk in bowl; let stand 10 minutes.
    Sift together dry ingredients in large bowl.
    Add egg and oil to oatmeal mixture; mix well.
    Add oatmeal mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just enough to moisten.
    Spoon batter into greased muffin tins, filling each two-thirds full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done.
    Makes 12 muffins.
