Don'S Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1+ tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 c. pecans, chopped or halved
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients thoroughly. Add pecans last to mixture.
    Pour into pastry shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Pie is done when outer edge of filling is set and center slightly soft.
