Sky High Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    2 c. milk
    4 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks; stir in sugar, cornstarch, salt, butter, vanilla and milk.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boil, about 3 minutes.
    Pour in coconut and mix, then put in pastry shell.
    Put meringue on top.
    Sprinkle some coconut on top of meringue.
    Put in oven and brown.
    Let cool 5 hours before cutting.
