Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil (not olive oil; you may use margarine instead)
4 eggs, beaten until fluffy
1/3 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
4 large apples, sliced very thin, cored and peeled
sugar and cinnamon
Preparation

Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix until smooth, then pour half in a greased tube pan.
Put a layer of apple slices on the batter, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon to suit your taste. Cover with the rest of the batter.
Arrange remaining apple slices on top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 until done, about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
