Macadamia Nut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 1/2 c. chopped macadamia nuts (if the macadamia nuts are unsalted, add 1/2 tsp. salt)
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs with sugar and corn syrup.
    Stir in the nuts.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake in a moderately slow 325\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes or until crust is golden and center of pie is set.
    Test by shaking gently.
    Let cool and chill.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
    Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
