Ingredients

2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. powdered sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar well.
Add flour, about 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Vanilla may be added along with the flour.
Roll out portions of the dough, using a mixture of flour and powdered sugar on the rolling surface.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Cool and frost.
