Golden Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skins; chill, then peel and grate into large bowl.
    In medium saucepan, over low heat, combine butter and cheese.
    Stir occasionally until almost melted.
    Remove from heat. Blend in sour cream, onions, salt and pepper; pour over potatoes. Mix and pour into casserole.
    Spread butter.
    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
