"Patty'S" Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening (1 stick margarine)
    3 small ripe bananas (1 c.)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
    Cut in shortening like for pie crust.
    Mix together using a fork.
    Add eggs and bananas. Blend until mixed (note:
    do not use mixer; don't overmix). Grease and flour loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, approximately.
    (Can use muffin tins, etc.; adjust baking time.)
