Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
1/2 stick margarine
dash of salt

Preparation

Bring the sugar, water and Karo syrup to a boil.
Add peanuts and food coloring.
Cook until it reaches hard boil stage.
Remove from heat and add margarine and salt.
Beat until thick.
Pour onto buttered pan.
