Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. quick or regular oats
1 egg
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. coconut
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar, salt, oats, egg, baking powder, flour, vanilla and coconut.
Batter will be runny.
Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Drop batter by tablespoon 3 inches apart. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Watch carefully.
These burn easily.
Cool; peel off foil.
Store in an airtight container. Makes 36 cookies.
