Applesauce Gelatin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. applesauce
    1 box gelatin (any flavor)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. lime or lemon juice
    baked pie shell
Preparation
    Heat applesauce to boiling; add gelatin and cook until dissolved.
    Mix in sugar.
    Whip 1 cup very cold evaporated milk until stiff with lime or lemon juice.
    Pour this slowly into gelatin mixture.
    Some fruit can be folded in also, i.e., strawberry, raspberry, etc.
    Put in baked shell and chill at least 1 hour.
    Can be made with sugar-free substitutions also.
