Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. flour
16 oz. can tomatoes
1 1/3 c. water
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
few grains pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan over low-medium heat.
Add onion and garlic.
Cook until tender.
Blend in flour.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until light browned.
Add tomatoes, water, tomato sauce, wine, bouillon cube, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in parsley.
Use for meat, chicken dishes, eggplant, etc.
