Cinnamon Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white Karo
    1 c. water
    food color (your choice)
    1 tsp. cinnamon oil
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Have powdered sugar sifted out on a large spot on kitchen counter.
    Mix sugar, Karo and water in a large pan.
    Cook until hard-crack (300\u00b0) on candy thermometer.
    Turn heat off immediately. Add food coloring.
    Add cinnamon oil.
    Pour candy over powdered sugar immediately.
    (Will not melt counter.)
    When candy cools, break into pieces.
