Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix or dark chocolate, if preferred
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. Pet milk
1 c. milk chocolate chips (8 oz. bag), divided
2 c. chopped pecans, divided
Preparation

Blend cake mix according to box directions.
Pour half of batter into greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels in butter and milk.
Pour over the partially cooked cake. Sprinkle with half of the chocolate chips and half of the pecans. Pour the remaining batter over the chips and pecans.
Add chips and pecans for top layer.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
