Caramel Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 caramels
    1/4 c. hot water
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped or halves
    1 unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Melt caramels in hot water in top of double boiler over boiling water.
    Let cool.
    In large bowl, cream butter.
    Add sugar about 2 tablespoons at a time.
    Cream until light and fluffy. Beat in flour, salt and beaten eggs.
    Stir in the melted caramels. Add milk, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into unbaked shell.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes which has been preheated.
    Turn oven off and let set in oven 15 minutes.
