Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
2 tsp.vanilla
4 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix brown sugar and flour together; add the beaten egg yolks and milk.
Cook in double boiler or copper bottom pan until mixture is real thick; stir constantly.
Do not let it scorch. Add vanilla and butter.
Let cool, then put in baked pie shells. Cover with meringue.
Makes 2 pies.
