Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
3 eggs yolks
2 c. water
3 medium lemons (juice and grated rind)
Preparation

Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt together.
Stir in water and cook over medium heat until thick.
Remove from stove and add beaten yolks, juice and rind (add to taste), and butter.
Cook for a few minutes longer until thickens again.
Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
