Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. uncooked parboiled long grain rice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. scallion, chopped
    1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, bring first 4 ingredients to boil.
    Add rice.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
    Stir in scallion and almonds.
