Ingredients

2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
pinch salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat egg whites with mixer until stiff; add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time; until stiff.
Add cream of tartar and salt; stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. Drop mixture by a spoon; place in oven.
Turn off oven and leave cookies until oven has cooled.
