Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt or less
    1 1/3 c. shortening
    1 large egg
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    5 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix flour, salt and shortening together.
    Mixture will be coarse.
    Combine egg with vinegar and water; mix well.
    Add to the flour mixture all at once.
    Mix and shape into a ball. Divide into 3 or 4 dough balls.
    Refrigerate until needed.
    (Dough will keep for 3 weeks in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer compartment.)
    Yields 3 or 4 pie crusts.
