Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 stick margarine at room temperature
    2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding
    1 lb. pkg. Oreo cookies
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    3 c. milk
    1 family size Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cream together cream cheese, margarine and sugar; set aside. Mix vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk and vanilla.
    Crumble 1/2 of cookies in a pan or dish (9 x 13-inch).
    Combine cream cheese mixture and pudding mixture; add all of Cool Whip except enough to make a topping (use about 12 ounces).
    Spread on cookies.
    Crumble balance of cookies on pudding mixture.
    Top with Cool Whip to cover cookies.
    Refrigerate overnight.
