Karo Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white or clear Karo syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar (3/4 c. brown and 1/4 c. white)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
Preparation

Mix together first 5 ingredients for filling. Spread pecans in bottom of pie shell then pour mixture on top of pecans. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 - 35 minutes longer. When pie is done the outer edges of filling should be set and center slightly soft.
