Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sugar or equivalent
1 cup crushed pretzels
20 ounce can crushed pineapple
1 stick butter
8 ounces Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar; add pineapple. Fold in Cool Whip and place in fridge. Mix pretzels, 1/2 cup sugar and butter; put in microwave three minutes. Stir well when cool. Mix the two mixtures together and place in fridge until ready to eat.
