Country Cooking Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/8 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.
    Cut in shortening. Add
    egg and milk.
    Mix until dough forms.
    Roll out and cut 3/4-inch
    thick.
    Place
    on
    ungreased
    baking
    sheet and freeze. When
    frozen
    store
    in
    plastic bag.
    To bake, place biscuits on lightly greased baking pan and bake at 475\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
