Brandied Fruit Starter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (17 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
2 (6 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. brandy (any flavor)
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a clean glass jar. Stir gently. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 3 weeks, stirring twice a week. Serve over pound cake, ice cream, etc., always reserving at least 1 cup of starter.
