Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cake flour (Softasilk)
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 1/2 c. egg white
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Set out tube pan; don't grease.
Measure and sift 3 times flour and confectioners sugar.
Measure into large bowl egg white, cream of tartar and salt.
Beat until foamy.
Gradually add 2 teaspoons at a time, sugar.
Beat until stiff.
Fold in vanilla and almond extracts.
After flour and confectioners sugar is sifted 3 times, sift over meringue mixture.
Fold in gently just until flour and sugar mixture disappears.
Rush batter into pan and cut through with a knife.
Bake until top springs back when touched.
Invert on funnel and let cool completely.
