German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium potatoes, cooked
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 to 3 hard-cooked eggs
    1/2 lb. bacon or more
Preparation
    Fry bacon; drain.
    Use 2 tablespoons bacon drippings; when hot, add water and vinegar.
    When it comes to a boil, pour little of the mixture into the dry ingredients; stir well to avoid lumps.
    Put all back into skillet and let come to a boil to thicken.
    Pour over the cooked potatoes, hard-boiled eggs and crumbled bacon.
    Place into greased dish and bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Can be made the day before and heated before serving.
