Crunchy Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. buttermilk
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening, softened
1 egg
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Sprinkle yeast into warm water; stir until dissolved.
Warm buttermilk.
Pour into large bowl.
Add 3 tablespoons sugar; let cool.
Stir in yeast, shortening, egg and half of the flour. Beat until smooth, then add more flour until dough begins to clean sides of bowl.
