1 lb. lean beef round, ground
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Shape into 4 patties.
Broil or grill 4 inches from heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until as done as desired.
